I've never been a HUGE fan of classical music, but I never really disliked it. Anyway, I recently stumbled across a cd of Yo-Yo Ma's Inspired By Bach and am loving it. I particularly enjoy Suite No. 1 in G Major.

Any recommendations for something similar that I might enjoy?

I really enjoy Vivaldi's cello concertos.

I didn't find the Britten cello suites anywhere near as accessible as Bach or Brahms. I only listened to them a couple of times from a CD I checked out of the library. I realize they need more than a couple of listens, but there's so much music to buy I haven't bothered.

Speaking of URL="http://www.amazon.com/Schubert-Debussy-Rostropovich-Britten/dp/B00000JXZ3/ref=pd_bbs_sr_2?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1232506072&sr= 8-2"]Britten and Rostopovich[/URL] this is a great cello and piano CD
