As per subject, even completely happy with my 7 years old HD800, out of curiosity, please reccomended closed backs, price range 300-800 eur.
Brighter sounding cans preferred as my hearing is impaired from 1kHz-8Khz.
Eq is not a problem as I drive my headphones with RME ADI-2 FS nor is a power.
I love comfort of mine HD800 so that is priority.
At the moment looking at:

Beyerdynamic 1770 pro-300eur used
Aeon 2 closed, used preferred

Beyerdynamic T5... very good price for used can be found 350ish eur

HD820 would be a dream to try but out of budget frame

more ideas in that price range....??

Thanks

its kinda hard to find. The impedance is located on the cup, under the bracket.
If you magnify this image you will see my pair are 300 ohm version.

I'd get the Beyerdynamic DT770 250 ohm over the 1770 any day, much more fun and treble energy. The bass extends so deep you'll be bouncing in your chair to hiphop songs in no time. The 1770 is too tame for me (the B pads are a disaster, with boomy bass and absence of treble), and the 177x doesn't resolve details like the 250 ohm DT770. For travel I like the AKG K371Pro, which I never equalize since it's well rounded, also easy to drive for travel with just a phone to power them.
