Guys,
 
I love my headphones, specially the IE8's with Comply foam tips (these make it sound great, but quality is crap), I love them because the sound BIGGER (like full size headphones) and they are so portable and pack a punch, also they are SO STURDY!, made to last, bought them two years and going strong... I feel bad about replacing them.
 
But the cable is going and I don't know where to get the OEM Sennheiser cable, and I don't feel like spending $400 for the new IE80's, I just don't, with that said, the sound signature I love is the one you find on the M80 and IE8, very warm, so that is what I am looking for.
 
I've been reading like crazy, but I just can't decide, I just bought a pair of Fischer-Audi DBA02 from Amazon and hated them, thought they sounded like sh!t, but perhaps they were fakes?, I don't know, not even $20 Sony's sound so weak.
 
I need a new pair of IEM's, any advise based on my headphone sound preferences?
 
Or maybe I just need a new pair of tips and a new cable?, any recommendations there?
 
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
