Hey guys,

I never messed with RCA cables and stuff without a receiver and I'm a newb at this audio stuff so I'm a bit stumped. I have a pair of Paradigm Shift A2s (they look like this in the back).

I want to hook my subwoofer up to them, a PSW110.

And I'm going to hook everything up to my Audioengine D1 DAC which has a RCA L/R output.

How do I get everything together? (the subwoofer confuses me a bit) All I have are RCA interconnects so I think I may be missing something...

Thanks in advance for the help!

ps I don't have enough posts to link images yet so no [/img]

RCA is all you need, but ideally you should use 4 mono RCA cables:
Use the DAC outputs to connect to the corresponding INPUT in the speakers. Set the Audio Settings switch to the channel used.
Use the speaker OUTPUT RCA (the same channel as the input used) and connect that to the same channel in the subwoofer.
The signal path for the left channel is:
    DAC output L -> Speaker Input L
    speaker audio setting switch set to L
    Speaker output L -> subwoofer input L
The same goer for the right channel.

I was messing with the setup a bit, and I see that when I try to daisy chain my A2s together using the 3.5mm jacks and plug it to the sound card via 3.5mm, the sub doesn't work (RCAs connected to each of the A2s output). The A2s work perfectly fine though. What is the explanation behind this? (Bonus question :p)
