Hey guys I just won an auction on ebay for a pair of beats pro's. I got them for a great deal, but my next move is to figure out if they are authentic and then pay. I have asked the seller some questions and he said they were authentic. Just tried it myself and comes up as 'not genuine'

Also your seller has sold a few pairs of 'new' Beats at reduced prices with no boxes. No explanation either.

Edited above, your seller seems suspicious, the serial checker site seems genuine, though I can't guarantee it obviously. Having seen Beats Pro's, I don't recall a sticker like that on them either, unless this is something new.

Hmmm. But that website is denying a lot of serial numbers. It hasnt worked for one yet.

Hey, trust me, I know beats aren't my only option. I am thinking about getting the dj 1's or hfi 580 or pro mk2 audio technica's but, the beats are better if I can get them at a better price.

Dude its fake - I have the same damn serial number!  Filed a complaint with ebay
