Denons doesn´t have rolled off treble right?

Could try some german maestros. 435S if you are not the one that need tons of quantity. 8.35D monitors with stock pads for that perhaps. They have a really nice soft treble if you are sensitive to that. Bass doesn´t go as deep on the Pro 900s or K701 for example but then those don´t have the rolled off treble you are asking for

I like deep deep bass that doesn't bleed into other frequencies and can go low and have fast strong decay ,and a little bit of sparkle like the senns but nothing sharp or sibilant like my jvc iem.

I am willing to get an amp but I am not willing to get an ipod because I am the most apple hater on headfi, but I thijnk that an amp won't make much difference because I will connect it via HP out of the zune.

Just a note on the Grados IMO they have much sharper highs than you want and they wont be comfortable after about 1.5 hours.

You have the hd650,do they have a veil and recessed mids?I am not a hater of sennheiser I love them but all I seem to read on them that they are dark phones with a veil in them.I love the senns sound sig for certain types of music and moods but the recessed mids and the veil in them make them annoying for me while listening to my favorite playlist and genres,I am just afraid of getting a big can senn. To find out it have the same problem as its little brother ie8. Just my $0.02

Well, like I said, the IE8 is a pretty exaggerated "stereotypical Sennheiser". FWIW, I totally understand where you're coming from, and why you'd be quite reluctant to drop money on a Senn. It makes it especially tough when you can't try out a can before buying, too, because all you have to go on is generalizations, and speculation, and opinions, which can range all over the map. I'm not trying to get you to buy a Sennheiser, I'm just saying you should look into the option a bit more, particularly the HD 595, because FWIR, it has less of that veil you're talking about, as well as a more lively, front-row kind of sound, and far less emphasis on bass than your IE8. So, at least in theory, it should give you everything you say you love about the IE8, with none of the stuff that you dislike.

But yeah, other options would be Denons, maybe Ultrasones, maybe some of the mid-tier Beyerdynamics people have mentioned...

Hope you find what you're looking for in a pair of cans.

I think the "Veil" you are talking about is often confused with the rolled off treble you say you like. I recabled my Senns with silver for a much more in your face presentation. At times a little to much. I would not say the HD650s have recessed mids at all. If anything they are exaggerated. The HD600s have a more neutral presentation but less bass. Sorry to keep going on about Senns. Beyerdynamics may be the sound you are looking for. I had a chance to listen to them at a meet and really like the ones I heard. I think they were closer to the high end of the Beyerdynamic line. Some poeple say the Beyerdynamics give such a flat response that they loose the music a little. I didn't think that.

@Elk: The wonder what difference you heard because the difference in resistivity between a meter copper and silver is about 0.0000102 ohms, which is only 0.000003264 % of a 32 ohm load (a value below 5% is adequate, see wp).

@OP: What about PX 100's? :)

Px100 mmm...I want somkething high end or as described here in headfi midrange(350-400).I have been reading about the shure 840 and beyerdynamics DT880 and that they are easy to drive, what do you think?

If you're willing to get a decent amp then the K701s are hard to beat unless you only listen to Rock. Then the 325i's would probably be ok. AKGs are cheaper though.

I am willing to get an amp but as I was saying I am not willing to get an ipod.does the amp sound decent through the headphone out or is it a necessaity to be from the ipod line out?

OK, so the ie8 is just like the Senn HD6* series except for all the things that make the latter *good headphones* ?? Seriously, I would take any post that tries to compare a pair of IEMs with fullsize cans with a grain of salt. I'm not knocking IEMs - I enjoy the in-ears that I own - but I prefer fullsize cans at home. I also question whether exceptional levels of detail are wasted in the environment that IEMs are usually pressed into service - different story if you are going to use them at home as you would seem to indicate in your OP.

The IE8 is expensive here in Oz:
Sennheiser: IE8 | Headphonic: Australian Headphone Specialists: Buy Etymotic, Alessandro, Audio Technica, Ultimate Ears, Talisman, Meier Audio and more

At the price Sennheiser are asking for the IE8 locally, there are several alternatives in both IEM and portable cans that may or may not rock your world. Buying large cans for use with a portable player doesnt make a lot of sense to me, but some Head-Fiers roll our the AD900 and D2K in response to every post asking for a reccomendation.

ESW9:
Headphonic: Browse Products | Headphonic: Australian Headphone Specialists: Buy Etymotic, Alessandro, Audio Technica, Ultimate Ears, Talisman, Meier Audio and more
SuperFi5:
Ultimate Ears: SuperFi5 | Headphonic: Australian Headphone Specialists: Buy Etymotic, Alessandro, Audio Technica, Ultimate Ears, Talisman, Meier Audio and more

I'm not suggesting that you will have to pay those prices - just trying to put the IE8s into context. There are countless other options when you've upgraded your source, but these stood out as good choices within your budget. Finally, I dont know what these cost in your neck of the woods, but they would have to be a lot cheaper than our price:

Shure: SE530PTH | Headphonic: Australian Headphone Specialists: Buy Etymotic, Alessandro, Audio Technica, Ultimate Ears, Talisman, Meier Audio and more

You will find many rabid Shure fans on Head-Fi, but that is well in excess of the amount I would be prepared to pay for IEMs. Horses for courses.
