I am moving into a shared office space, blegh, and I need a set of headphones that won't bother the people next to me. However, I also want them to sound great and be well built.

I typically like the HiFiMan sound signature for cans - it's fun and engaging. Though I am currently rocking a set of Quad Era 1s that I really enjoy too.

I've been thinking about:
Focal Bathys
Audeze LCD-2 Closed-back
HiFiman HE-R10

Keep in mind, I'd like something that is reletively easier to drive, as I won't have my standard amp/dac setup. I could get a travel one if needed. Wireless would be a real plus, or at least USBc (or both?)

What else should I be looking at? Keep it under $1000,pls

Take a look at jmaudioeditions. His closed phone are very good sounding to me. I have settled on Audeze Open planars, but the XTC would have had me if I had not had the open Audeze. I do believe you can have a pair for about $1k.

I've had a couple on your list but my favorite closed back is the Drop Dan Clark Aeon closed back planars.
I use some computer filter foam cut to the same shape and it's best for tuning. The felt pads tone it down too much, and no pads is a little bright. Amazon sells a roll of the kitchen range or computer fan filter foam.

I would suggest the HE-R10P Stealth Edition (only). If you can stretch the budget. Great deal on hifimans website. Might find a few in classifieds.

This one sounds very open and have great bass presence also.

get Bathys or APM or even APP. All others you mentioned are big bulky and leak sound.

If it was home setup i’d suggest DCA Noire X. Only decent sounding closed back in the world alongside with E3.

If you're looking for something to capture the hifiman signature sound in closed back form, or something like it, I do agree with dunring that your best bet is probably one of the Dan Clark Aeon Closed models.
