So these headphones (1st generation) might not be considered high end, but they are certainly rare. 
 
My friend and I are looking to design a tubed electrostatic amplifier for them, but we need as much information as possible. If anyone can point us in the right direction, that would be fantastic.

Going by what Ergo did with the official Jecklin tube amp then you can use a high power Stax amp with the right bias voltage. Something like the ESX design would be a good place to start.
