Agreed. You might like the Nighthawks better subjectively but LCD 3 will always be better objectively

I was just replying to him when he asked if Nighthawk is better than LCD 3.

Honestly both the Amiron Home and DT 1990 sound better than the Hawks for the same price in terms of resolution and in terms of refinement. The Hawks do sound good corrected but the Beyers achieve a higher fidelity sound. The Focal Elear is also better than the Hawks.

Hawks are very musical and dynamic, they have very dark background and precise imaging, with the velour ear pads the enjoyment level is high, and that's what the starter wants
