I am new to this forum and I badly need help in deciding what would I buy to replace my Bose IE2. After a long research, I narrowed down to few models. I don't want to buy Bose again. My price range is around $100.
 
1. Klipsch S4i
2. Shure SE 215
3. Ultimate Ears UE 600vi
4. HIFIMan RE400
 
Please suggest me as I am tired of doing enough research. I almost bought Klipsch S4i, but found Shure SE215 are far superior.

What kind of music do you listen to and how would you prefer to wear your IEMs, depth of the insertion etc. Too many goodies to decide from at that price point

I would listen all kinds of music, not Rock though. I mostly listen to instrumental like violin and Sitar. A good bass and treble would be my choice. I wouldnt prefer too much of insertion. I was ok the way Bose IE2 was sitting in my ear.

Instrumental strings + good bass + good at all genres + shallow fit

If you are ok with wearing it overear I would look at the gr07 mkii which are like 130$ @ lendmeurears

Violin is fine but Sitar does sound kinda funny on SE215s.

I would agree the Shure se215 are meh for the type of music you are asking about.. While I loved them I would say the klipsch s4i are better I believe
