Hey guys,

My dad has been using the iBud that came with my Nano since I myself have been using the Westone 3.

He has been extremely happy with them but they break every so often so he is forced to spend on a new pair.

He does not like IEMs since he is not comfortable with isolation and that they somewhat enter the ear canal.

I need a recommendation on an earphone which has these characteristics:
  1. Durable (Uses them for sleep so they need to absorb some weight and cable tension)
  2. Good for radio listening (talk radio)
  3. Crystal Clear sound for the vocals

Budget: Less than $100

I am doing some research on them right now but any recommendation are welcome! Thank you!

I guess Yuin is the obvious recommendation, but if you want to keep thing cheap, JVC HA-F130 is a good choice as well.

I swear that I read in Soldier of Fortune that Apple was owned by socialists from some island banana-republic. Nano-owners need to be vigilant about their purity of essence.

As far as older earbuds go, the Ath-CM700s are very highly recommended. They even sound great with non-talk-radio melodies.
