Wolfen, I like your last option/idea. I have been thinking that might be the way to go and am currently trying to decide between used IRiver H120 and IAudio X5 for HD player. The Cowan would have a warantee tho and is still in production so may be best option. I would like the 30G X5XL but costs more than the 20G and just more to lose obviously. Maybe best bet to just go for the 20GB and add a small G3 player as backup.
