I am pretty surprised that you don't have JVC HP-DX1000s on your list.  There is a pair that just came up for sale on the forum for $650. too.  New retail they are still under 1K.  I think in the high 800 low 900 range these days.  I tried many of the phone you have listed and took these over them.

The Edition 8 may be out of your price range, but I think it's the best current-production closed headphone.  The Denon headphones leak too much to be useful to you.  The DX-1000 and W1000X are both great, but both different, and both have a slightly distinct set of colorations that you will either love or hate (although I do like both).  The Edition 8 is quite neutral with a powerful bass that does not impinge on the rest of the frequency spectrum at all.
