On the mytek US Store, it is writen:" We started building the first batch of 100pcs of the Manhattan DAC which will begin shipping on "first come, first served basis" on August 15, 2014 "

So, it should be available...TODAY !!

I just saw that it is planed that end of 2014, this MANHATTAN DAC will offer PCM to DSD hardware conversion.
 
This PCM to DSD on the fly conversion seems to be the next big move in digital playback ! 

Even Lampizator on his Facebook says: "From many many experiments that we do now developing our DSD lineup, I can see that probably the future of High End is - decline of CD spinning transports and huge increase of computer based systems where EVERYTHING will be played as DSD via DSD DACs. Even PCM files, simple CD rips wil be played viaDSD. I Really dont know why, everything benefits from conversion toDSD. That's where I see high end 2 years from now."

And, the New $20.000 NAGRA HD DAC also convert everything to DSD(no choice)  as well as other like the $10.000 ALLNIC-D5000 tube DAC, PS Audio DirectStream DAC.
 
--> is it a serious move a just a temporary trend ?  time will tell...

I wonder if the dual SE headphone output can be used to create a single BALANCED headphone output (like resonessencelabs's  INVICTA  differential mode.) ?
 
Also, I can't find anywere the Manhattan's MANUAL to download !

I just got an email from michal. He says they're still building the first 50 peices. So it's not out yet.

+1 on this, keen for some impressions. Surprising that there has not been one single review of it yet.
