Hi, new to Head-Fi, but folks at reddit.com/r/headphones always point to this site. I've got these because I live in Dr. Oskar Heil's house and pulled these from the original box in 2012, although I don't know if they were previously used, prior to my getting my mitts on them.  http://i.imgur.com/JFH8OBY.jpg?1

Cheers!

I don't know how many of these are still in existence, but you sure can add that to your "want list". I spied what you "Have" and you may have an addiction, and there is nothing wrong with that.

I'd really like to see more pictures of these, there are absolute zilch on google.

Bump for gorgeous and technically fascinating headphones!

Those headphones used to come with an adaptor to be connected to the speakers terminals in the back of a stereo receiver. They would sound better through such a connection. Made in Japan despite ESS statement that their production was US based. I have a Mark 1 that I puchased myself back in 1978... and its invoice too! I barely used them about 20 times back then... Stored in the original factory box for the past 35 years. Mint condition. I wonder how much they'd be worthed today..
