Upgrading cables beyond a $17 cardas mini to mini would be WAY low on my list of potential improvements for listening setups.

I have read the Cardas is a very good cable and the price is right. I make my own but I used to make and sell IC's. It is nice to be able to make whatever length you need and have the quality that would normally be fairly expensive, though it shouldn't be.
