The more I listen to these old cans, even with these raggy pads, I love em more and more. I can't wait for my DT250 pads to arrive!

At the station, we have two pairs that have everything just falling apart - but the sound is good enough to keep them around. I replaced the pads on my old pair and was abe to sell them for $40. If they sound great fine; but this is also a chance to upgrade....

Let us know here, how the 250 pads affect the sound, okay?

B&H was closed for over a week for Passover. That is why you haven't received them.

You'll love them with the DT250 pads. It boosts the bass a bit and makes them soooo comfy

After afew weeks listening & comparing my MDR's..the difference between my very old V6's & newer 7506's, it's night & day.

The V6's have a much better warm, golden sound. While my 7506's have a brighter, sibilant sound (especially cymbal crashes & SSS sounds)

I did some OHM readings to the both of them. The V6's were ~71ohms and the 7506's were ~60 ohms.
