I missed a question, yes the foam is noise absorption material. I went with the Akasa stuff and it doesn't work very well. I'd recommend Dynamat if you really want to quiet down a noisy pc.

Today I have another Lian Li arriving for a water cooled build for a neighbor. It's some older parts, he just wants quiet. Here it is so far, Asus A8N-SLI motherboard, EVGA 6800 Ultra, AMD 3500+:

Hey, my rig has almost the same setup as yours. I'm on an MSI K8N Neo2 mobo, but I use a 3500+ and a 6800Ultra. Hell, it was even in a Lian Li case, too. Everything used to be watercooled, but I have since moved back to air.
