Some of you know I build myself a new computer every 2 years, well after many, many problems my first water cooled computer is done! I started this build in January, it is on its 3rd motherboard, 2nd set of ram, 2nd video card, and 2nd power supply. Anything that can go wrong, did. But I'm happy to say all has come into alignment, and it works like a champ! It was a learning experience, that's for sure.

Specs:
EVGA 680i motherboard
intel X6800 @ 3.8ghz
2gb Corsair Dominator at 1250mhz
EVGA 8800GTX
Creative Audigy 2 ZS Platinum
2-74gb Raptors
2-320gb Seagates
Corsair HX620W power supply
Yate Loon fans
Thermalright HR-05 SLI on south bridge
Lian Li PC-7077B case

Water cooling parts:
Black Ice Pro 3x120 radiator
D-Tek Fuzion
Danger Den 680i chipset block
EK 8800GTX full coverage block
Swiftech MCP655 pump
7/16" MasterKleer
Danger Den black aluminum fillport
Radgrill

Temps:
CPU: @ 3.8ghz, 1.44vcore, idle 34C, load 54C
GPU: stock clocks, idle 38C, load 44C

Heh, I knew someone would ask!

I reused the hard drives, dvd drives, sound card, and case from my last build.

New stuff:
Motherboard: $250
CPU: $975
Ram: $640
Video card: $530
Water cooling stuff: ~$400

Total: $2795

Having a silent kick ass pc: priceless.

Very, very quiet. I'm running the low speed Yate Loons at around 7 volts from a Sunbeam Rheobus fan controller. The fans themselves make no noise at all, there is just a slight whoosh of air movement noise. The hard drives are the loudest part of this computer!

How does the pump sound?

Back when I had watercooling I used a Dangerden D4 pump which was loud as hell. It sort of killed the idea of using watercooling for a "silent" PC...

I can't hear the pump at all. When I initially set it up I had the pump bolted to the case floor, then I could hear it vibrating. I have since invested in a piece of gell stuff and the pump just sits loose on the gell, now it's totally silent.

Not a lot in it, but all it does is fold all day.

WWWWWHAT. NO WIRES! Magic!

Do you run your cables behind the motherboard? (I know a lot of professional builders do this, but I haven't found the time to and I'm content with my cable management as it is now).
