Hi 2 all...
Yesterday while listening to music, suddenly I lost sound at left driver...
After some positioning sound is back, but at some position of driver sound at left driver continues to interrupt.
So now long searching of authorized AKG service center here in Moscow just begins...
Did someone else experienced same problem with his K 701?

definitely sounds like a "return to AKG" if the amp is under warranty. this should never happen.

There can always be bad lemons in a given batch and yours happens to be one. In your case it looks like a bad connection somewhere in the cable. Unless you are handy at repairs of this sort, just let AKG do the fixing for you.

Next week I will send them to AKG service center. But before they will be ready, new Beyerdynamic DT 880 (2005) will sit on my ears...

So.. situation seems to be strange.. i called to AKG's official dealer at Russian federation territory.. As far as I read at AKG global site, warranty for a products of K701 category is 2 years, here at Russia it is only 1 year. So all I can do is to open them and repair by myself. Thank to my skills, it will not be so hard...
Definatelly no more AKG headphones in my future.
