Nifty, how did it look inside with the iMod once you opened it.

He has posted in his FAQ that opening the iMod may damage the delicate insides.

Well I have opened my iMod quite a few times. Changing the battery twice (to test between 1350 mAh and 1200 mAh) and a few times more for this mod.

Indeed special care is needed to ensure the fine Pure SILVER Wires used by Vinnie to rig the Black Gate caps. He has also meticulously covered the DAC output port with some neat silicone to prevent them from touching other components. All in all I greatly admire Vinnie's handiwork. And for the love of God, I could not trace where he disable the amp port to the dock (but the port is disabled for sure). Everything else looked stock.
