I don't know the number but I ordered and paid 15 minutes after Jan updated the website and announced the Aria.

I just got the email saying my amp shipped! Very excited about getting it!

To the happy new owners: Don't forget burn-in! The amp needs 300-500 hours to sound as it should.

It will sound a bit rough out of the box.

Seriously? Why would the Aria require such an excessive amount of time considering it's solid state?

Basic question, but has burn-in for solid state amps been proven? Are there before and after frequency response graphs out there, the way there are for headphones?

Not all amp go through a drastic change. But some can.
Altho, I suspect it's partially related to how a listener percieve as a * huge* change.
