I'm so sad, I have been burning in my hornet close to 200hrs now, and I found out today that my Hornet couldn't charge batteries anymore. Anyone experienced similar event?
I guess I have to send in the amp back to Ray and without Hornet.

I'm in Toronto at the moment. Last week I was in Montreal. I will be back in Montreal again next week.
I have been busy with Millett last week and tomorrow I will be receiving my Ultrasone 9.

Found out the problem, I got mixed up between Millett AC Adaptors and Hornet AC Adaptors since both tips are the same sizes. THAT'S BAD!!! THAT'S THE PROBLEM WHEN YOU TRIED BURN-IN TWO AMPS AT THE SAME TIME!

Hornet requires 12V, and that's why it didn't charge at all.

I guess thats an easy mistake.
Especially since they use the same connector.

Glad that your Hornet is ok though.

Hehehe, the Millett was slightly warm, but so far so good. I have been running it without AC Adaptor for 4 hours now to test. I guess I'm very lucky, since I'm currently in Canada and it's pretty chilly out here. Another thing also, may be tube amp is more resistant to power and heat abuse compared to transistors in terms of heat and durability? Because all my tube amps last for decades but not my transistors.

Not sure.

a good idea for situations like this is to buy a bunch of small
colored cable ties like the ones from radioshack, they sell a bag
of 6 different colors. Pick a color and put it on the end of the
charging cable. You will instantly know whether you have the right
cable or not.

Since there is no universal standard for polarity, this could save
you a lot of money in permanently damaged stuff.

I am sure glad everything worked out allright and the TTVJ Millet is fine. It is a cozy and lush sounding amp. Great for Jazz!

Actually I find today that Ultrasone 9 matches best with the Millet compared to Hornet nor Supermacro. The Millet expands the soundstage, opens up the midrange, and reduce the bass a little bit from being overwhelming. It's a better balance. But don't take my words for it since it's only my first day impression.
