OK, I'm on vacation and just bought a PSP. Of course, I want to upgrade the stock Sony buds, since I'm sure they're not the greatest. This will be unamped for now, although I have an older HR Airhead at home that I forgot to bring.
I'm looking for an upgrade I can buy locally (Nanaimo area on Vancouver Island). Radio Shack sells MX400 and MX550, both for the same price. Which would be better? I'm not that crazy about the volume control on the MX550 but I don't have a lot of choices either.
I could also get any of the Sony buds. I'd consider Koss KSC-75 or 35s except I don't know if I can find them.
I don't want to invest any more $ at this time. I'll probably get an iPod pretty soon and will hopefully invest in some Shure e4c's at that point.
