Hard to believe those aren't stage names like many of the ones above - Mr. Zappa certainly had an interesting sense of humor (if he was joking, that is).

I guess I'll have to consult the Oracle.

edit: the Oracle directed me to the Prophet, which tells me they met in a high school keyboarding class: Dean is Mickey Melchiondo and Gene is Aaron Freeman. Sad, I really thought they were brothers.
