music you listen to while playing battlefield3?

I often listen to Downtempo stuff when playing a high stress/speed game like BF or COD. Bluetech, Burial, etc.

When it's something more casual and slow like Skyrim I listen to more high energy stuff.

Just seemed to work out that way. I never gave it a bit of thought until last year.

i am in the helicopter a lot more nowadays and i listen to a lot more trance music because it seems to go with the action and the lock shows up on screen so it doesn't really matter about hearing to much..

I don't actually play BF3, but if I did I would just be flying in helicopters and playing this.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=Xo6Es-itLg0 it's not easy to stay in the air on battlefield3 because you get hammered from all sides but for as long as it lasts it's good...

I can relate. I'd think that listening to music would completely interfere with the sounds of the game, most of which are pretty important to pay attention to.

I like the idea of balancing out the tempo of the music you're listening to on the opposite end of the spectrum of the speed of the game you're playing though. If I did listen to music while I played this would be something that I'd consider.
