Music/Tracks to test Left/Right balance
Sep 6, 2015 at 6:30 PM Post #2 of 4
I use Zomby's 'Rumors and Revelations' to test for stereophony and frequency response.

There's some great low-end that goes right down the middle of the stereo image and is spread widely enough to be perceived in both my ears, as well as shakers that pan left and right all the way through the track.

The whole song is also repetitive enough to get a pretty good picture of how your headphones of choice are behaving. It appeared on a compilation called 'Brainmaths Volume 1' and as a single on it's own if you want to track it down.

Hope that helps you.

if you want to do it right, use a tone test and select the db for each piece, it will take some time:

Pick a db you are comfortable with at a few frequencies seperately then swap the ear pieces and see if you hear a difference.
