I am looking to get a music player that allows me to get better sound out of the headphones (50 Ohms impedance) than I've been getting from my iPod, with its limited audio file formats.

I probably wouldn't be taking advantage of the high resolution feature in the music player since I can't afford to buy a bunch of high resolution songs or albums, but I'd like to get a player that supports various audio file formats that are higher quality than the mp3s and other lossy formats that are supported by my old iPod.

Any thoughts on the following music players, or on others?

Astell & Kern Super Junior x AK Jr music player
Activo CT10 High-Resolution portable music player

I'm using the Surfans F20. I made an extensive review, but I don't think I uploaded it.
If you're still using an iPod, the Surfans may be capable of appealing to you.
