Have had no luck finding info about these. The smaller one (less tubes) is $200 on eBay shipped, the other is under $300 shipped. Are these any good? Just look at all those tubes!! The only info I found was about the transformers not being the best a few years ago and some QC issues. Would a LDMkiii be a safer choice?

My concern is not so much the SQ, rather I had read about problems with reliability. A few reviews said they sound great.

Heard some positive and negative comments about this unit, you need to make some tweaks on the internals to make it sound better (must be good at DIY)
