I just use a JLAB samba to carry 3 IEMs at a time. It's got a mesh pocket on either side and the third earphone stays in the middle.

Why do you want to carry 3 pairs of iems around?  Do you carry two extra pairs of shoes or wear three pairs of trousers?

I usually carry 2 universal earphones to go along with my customs but never thought to get a case that would fit both of them instead of just 2 cases that they come with.

That jlab samba case does look interesting and might save some space for me.

For storage, I love tackle boxes.

Try the Plano Stowaway 3448-40.  It measures 4-5/8" x 2-7/8" x 1" and most places sell it for less than $3.

my IE8's (m9's in my world, but you get it) sound better with this type of music than my other set.
