Does this even really matter?  Has anyone every really had their USB DAC/AMP not work right because there were too many other USB devices drawing power?

I have experience on USB drop out when an demanding USB devices is placed right next to my WiFi adapter (which is also very demanding). But I reckon the biggest benefit from an USB DAC will be a very clean, noise free power supply rail.
