I agree 100% about the dt770-80s,without a doubt the most fun phones I have ever had.Incrediable bass.Every type of music I've tried them with sounds good.

For music my two favorite open headphones are the _original_ 990's (not the ones sold today), and the dt531s. Both are beat obviously by the Sensas.

For movie watching, if my source were better it would be the original dt990s, but as my source is the headphone-out of the tv, I have to give that nod to the a500s.

Wow! Beyers kick ass in popularity in the replies!

It seems that a lot of people do enjoy the sound they produce.

While listening to my favorite music, hands down, I prefer my sr-225's however, I haven't heard many other headphones but I am in love with the sound that comes from those 225's. I am looking forward to trying phones with different sound signatures but as of now I'm in love with the "Grado" sound and am currently saving up for some rs-1's.

Q1- HD650
Q2- HD650

Sony CD3000 is a close second for movies/games.
I got a pair of MS-1s in 2 days ago, and I'm trying hard to like them...

This "trying hard to like them..." reminded me of this little speech that Yonda gives to Luke Skywalker at "The Empire Strikes Back" during training: "Try? There is no try! You either DO it or NOT!"

one more for the d531s. they're the only headphones that have stayed in my collection. and i have 2 of them.

not absolutely perfect. but i enjoy them most of them all. they offer the best combination of quality, and comfort.
