Grado HF-1 with my RSA Hornet gives me so much detail that I need to quit listening after a while because it is too overwhelming. Higher end Grado may even give more details oh my!

Seriously, if you can afford them, the GS1000 should provide full view of whatever is on the recording without compressing it and compromising micro and macro dynamics.

You must be kidding by putting SR60 on the top of W5000, I used to own MS2i and even 2005 DT770 has more details than those, when W5000 and SA5000 are just head and shoulders above.
DT880 is not far if not on par with SA5000, why did you put some "twenty five" no name phones in between is beyond me.

I have to cede to Zuerst as far as Qualia 010 - one needs fairly large time to examine it and Omega 2 to decide which is more detailed, but I can't agree to GS-1000 being the most detailed headphone ever. What it does do is shove the information in particular frequency range...upper midrange / lower treble at the listener.

Uh AD2000s. I own Qualias and the AD2000s while not as detailed are pretty fine on detail.

If you can stretch your budget the K1000 is pretty close to Qualias provided you amp them well which probably you won't unless you down to shell out at least a couple grand for a decent speaker amp... at bare minimum one of the pass labs solid staters or a decent 300B amp.

Funny, DT 48 was the first headphone produced by Beyer back in 1937 (or Dynamic Telephone, thus DT abbreviation that stuck to all beyer headphones). Seems like they knew how to make good stuff those days.

Whats wrong with warm headphones having details, do the 650s not have any detail? Do they have to sound bright to have detail?
