Browsing through old threads lately, I've been under the impression that the MDR-CD780s are the most comfortable headphones ever made. Only available on Ebay or head-fi, however.

But you do build up a tolerance for being hot/sweaty living here. Open obviously would be better for ventilation but I need closed cans.

I dont know if your open to canal phones but any of the EX-71/MD-33 versions and rebrands are very comfy. I also find the e3c's extremely comfortable, but some people just hate canal phones.
