I have the HE-500 headphones but their stock cables (10 feet) aren't long enough to reach my amp from where I listen to music.

Currently I'm connecting that cable to a 3.5mm to 1/4" adapter, which connects to a 1/4" female to female adapter, and then a regular 1/4 cable from that adapter to my amp. In order to extend my current cable I'm needing to add 2 adapters and an additional cable.

I'd really like to clean that up a bit though. Ideally, I'd like a 15' cable to run from my headphones direct to my amp.

Head Direct sells the hifiman 16ft cable for $92 which would likely solve my problem of adding 2 adapters and an extra cable to the mix. Would that be my best option (without breaking the bank)? I'm aware there are awesome quality silver cables out there... but at 15' it's going to be way too expensive for me right now.
