Hello, Well this is just my opinion. I use crossfeed a lot on my desktop rig, especially with music. The bassboost of the lisa is REALLY nice and I hope more portable amps would have one, especially onme as subtle as that one.

Well, now that I started a thread about what portable amps should have. Do you think that a gain switch is mandatory for portable amps? I think it is... Both the rudistor and the lisa dont have it and I miss it

Hello, i reread skylabs amp roundup yesterday and I think the amp is mentioned there/does not score as high as either the 3move or the lisa (not that htat last one was a surprise).

with a good volume pot gain switches are not necessary - xin reference works great without gain switch.

Only the UM2 has some noise with it - but that is the only IEM that is sensitive enough to not work properly.

As for bass boost I'm sure most people prefer to do it from EQ rather than change sound sig at the amp though even if EQ isn't the best for Sound quality.

Ultimately there are design considerations - complicate the circuit with crossfeed and features and bass boost, add switches, add possible sources of noise or degrade the circuit might give you more features but unless the designer is really great that could lead to lower quality overall.

It's just physics really.
