More comfy alternatives to the NAD Viso HP50.

1: (Mostly) Natural
2: Closed
3: Comfortable.

I really liked the sound of the NAD's and so many people say the sound of the NAD's and PSB's are extremely similar. Also some say the PSB's are more comfy.

Ok. I think i'll go for the PSB's. I love the sound of the nad which means i will probably like the psb's too, i have an average - sized head (which means clamping force won't be extremely high for me), the headband looks like it will fit better, the weight seems fine, and the fit for some is apparently better than the nad's. Thanks for all the help :)

Guess you've made up your mind, just to let you know I put on the normal brainwavz hm5 pads, and boy is the comfort a thousand times better, no issues with the seal either. I've yet to test the audio but I almost feel nothing on my end that's how comfortable they are.

Nice :) The reasons why i didn't just get the Brainwavz pads is because i have no idea how they will change the sound and the headband would still hurt my head. If the PSB's are uncomfortable on the ears though, i guess i would just get the pads for them.

Yes you have to find the best that is most comfortable to you.
The headband isn't that bad anymore honestly, I can now wear them without extending the headband anymore, just stock fit with brainwavz pads.
Tbh I haven't listened to proper headphones in a while, but all I can say is to my taste they still sound very good with the new pads, and with the extra thickness in the pads, I now get more airiness (or like NAD says roomfeel), it doesn't sound like a super closed headphone, now it sounds like semi open for the audio to have breathing space.

I admit only listening to a few tracks I had on hand, I tried finding 320kbps files I had but could only find few. What I want to do was try get few music files in both 320kbps and FLAC format. I'll listen do them more and report back but I'm more than happy now with the change of pads. Literally when I changed them, was comparing the stock NAD pads to the brainwavz, larger and thicker in every way and softer.
