Schiit Bifrost 2. Sounds delightful.
I've been using the ifi iDAC2 lately and really like it. Gonna try another DAC soon probably SMSL M300se. Trying to stay away from ESS and AKM as they all sound similar to me.Hi , just wondering what external DACs you guys have used with your Liquid X Gold and which paired well?
Would a Chord mojo2 pair well ?
Thanks in.advance
Make sure select the correct input on the LGX. I think it's marked S for single ended. Also make sure your Tazzy is cracked all the way up. I would also try connecting a different device just to make sure everything is working correctly.Hi
I`m trying to connect the Sony TA-ZH1ES (DAC only)to the Liquid Gold x, via the Sony Pre out with RCA cables without any luck
I`m doing something wrong?
Much appreciate any feedback
Thanks!

I`ve managed to connect the turntable to the Tazzy, so it seems an LGX-only issue...Hi K1030
There is only one RCA input in the LGX which I have used for my turntable via a project phono box ds2 USB whiteout issues
I’ve used the same RCA connection and same cables for the Tazzy (rca line in) also non working
The Tazzy Optica/Coax/usb (line in/ input)are working fine is the last 2 RCA line in and pre out not talking to the LGX
I hope I’m clear (all digital signals are fine) but none of the analog ones are working
Thanks
Pre-out is 2V fixed output, not controlled by the volume knob.Make sure select the correct input on the LGX. I think it's marked S for single ended. Also make sure your Tazzy is cracked all the way up. I would also try connecting a different device just to make sure everything is working correctly.
I agree. I'm always bouncing back and forth between my Jot2 and my LGX. The Jot2 is phenomenal for when I want to have a wild rock n roll riot, but I always pull out the LGX when I still want to have a good, high-energy fun time, but with just a touch more delicacy and subtlety• I have not listened via Liquid Gold X for a while (a move contributed...). Setting the DAC option to C(oaxial), the input option to B(alanced), LGX sounds sublime. Very light sweetness, immense detail, airy & sculpted soundstage, heft & impact in sound delivery. Doing a great job with the 300-ohm Sennheiser HD660-S2 (which I usually pair with the OTL Woo Audio WA3).
