Too rare and expensive now, but my favorite Islay malt from years ago was Port Ellen.

That’s good but my Ardbeg of choice is Uigeadail. The Port Charlotte is probably the best bang for buck Scotch out there. But if you want amazing try the Bruichladdich Octomore!
All very nice indeed, but my favourite is the Black Art series from Bruichladdich - each release is slightly difference, but they're the finest whiskies I've ever tasted - I've got the 3 and 4 releases (I think they're on 9 now)

My Kula with the optional DAC module has arrived, played it for a week now. Got me speechless, it really did, sounds amazing. The amp is manhandling my Dynaudio Contour 60i like they're small bookshelfs, not 52kg a piece beasts. I normally listen at 80—ish dBs, that's an 11:00 on Kula, but she's maxing out at 17:00... The only upgrade avenue I see now is an external streamer, but I'm not convinced it is worth the money and spoiling the one box system. Stoked!

None, it's discrete custom design.
You can read more here (and here) directly from the designer Bruno Putzeys
My understanding is that all signal processing is carried out by SHARC FPGAs, with the signal then fed to a discrete FIR DAC.
