i found some rust on my M6 few hours ago probably because of moisture due to sweat. it was near the Driver at the end of the memory wire. does this affect the Driver itself?

If I remember correctly from my chemistry class, that memory wire would be acting as the sacrificial anode. Meaning that it is rusting and not something else, e.g. the drivers. So I'd say you're fine.
