I'm currently on my way to recabling two orthos I've had for quite some time now a pair of Yamaha HP-1's and YH-2's I'm planning on going with the Neutrik NC4MXX XLR-4 and using Mogami W2893 as the wire to run but I'm stuck on the options of what to use at the split to the phones themselves, what do you all think I should go with? I'm currently using them both on the CEntrance HIFI-M8 on the 1/4 jack but I'm excited on going balanced. and one other thing what pin should I ground the served insulation to on the XLR-4 I'll ground it on amplifier end but not sure where to ground to?

can someone at least move this thread to somewhere else? maybe it could be in a better place. I just spent the $700 on the HIFI-M8 I'd love at least a simple answer...
