Sure, if you have a 100’ connectorI get that cable length increases capacitance and affects the audio signal as the cable gets longer (say a 10' guitar cable vs a 100' cable), is that possible with a connector like the ones Edric is mentioning?
You can of course have a connector with a bad contact, a mis-wired or a damaged/broken/faulty connector and of course the points of contact can be made of gold or silver plate or some alloy, all of which have somewhat differing resistance/conductivity but it’s a relatively tiny amount of metal the signal has to travel through and the effect on the signal is miniscule. It won’t even show up with just standard measurement methods/equipment, you’d need some extremely sensitive/expensive/specialist equipment to detect it and at any reasonable listening level such a minuscule difference could not even be resolved into sound.
