I am confused with regions and folder selection for Europe japan and universal.

My unit was E before E/Australia/ Je

So i need universal then?
I set my current region to CA what should I do?
CA has same certificate as Japan!

Same thing happened to me also. Every time I downloaded the J1Z’s, J3Z’s and M2ZJ they did not get to save on my pc. That is suck!

All of the firmware Region is identified by your Side Label as posted in the post. It won’t matter which region you used the tool to switch, the Hardcode Region remains and you have to use according firmware

Japan: Japan only
EU: E/EU/Australia
Universal: US/Ca/Ch and the rest

Hi everyone, I am late in the game. Can someone share a detailed post on how to change DMP-Z1 from US firmware to JP 1.02? I like to try if JP firmware sounds different from US. Hope someone can assist me. :) Thank you in advanced.

Even MP3 320 sounds awesome, everytime the drummer hits the ride it’s like I’m at the studio next to him!! Even using the volume at lower levels (dialed at 11) and using my stellias this is just insane!!!!!

I saw you have LimeEar Aether ciem; I have that too. Try it; seeing you have silver cable try the Whitigir musical FW; its spectacular.
And I agree with you, mp3 sounds really good if you have a good master; for me the format does not matter too much, as long as it has good master, even mp3 sounds good and comparable to higher format.

Mercury = Original
Jupiter = Musical
Mars = Fun

So he is on Jupiter tier 2 ;) which is right on the spot
