I recently switched to a new bluetooth gateway product for use in my car, and noticed this unit (Griffin BlueTrip AUX) has a lower output than my previous one. So I ordered a FiiO E6 headphone amp, and while it does do a great job, I noticed that it doesn't turn on by itself once power is applied, plus it forgets all settings as well.
Has anyone ever taken one of these apart and made it so it just turns once power is supplied (and volume set to max)? Based on the type of switch used, I am guessing this won't be an easy one, but had to ask.
Are there better solutions for in-car use (without upgrading the entire audio system)?
