No West Coast love? You guys should do a warmup at the Portland meet mar 26.
Will be interesting to meet other headphone enthusiasts in MN.
I'm a comparative newbie, but have already been stricken with the recurrent illness of Upgraditis (esp. the severe variant "UpGradoitis").
I'm looking forward to hearing what an amp can do for my MS-2 classics, listening to other phones in the Grado line-up that I've not yet heard (esp. the PS-1 & RS-1 - cross-my-fingers), and one of the top-'o-the line Senns.
Will be recovering from the previous day's wedding shower/dinner events, but hopin' the missus-to-be won't need me that afternoon on Sunday (where?).
Ugh. It's up in the air for me. I'm flying down to see NIN in Atlanta with my hombre, and the show is either 5.21 or 5.22 depending on what tickets are available. They go on sale this afternoon, so i'll report back after i figure out what he got for us.
But, if i am able to fly back the next day for some listening, i can guarantee that i'll be a contributing member
I'll bring what's in my profile, a sample of various kinds of woodies I've built, and maybe some self built IC's or something to promote self building of cables. Even if you don't have the tools for some of the trickier DIY stuff, cables is one thing that anyone can do with $15 or $20 worth of tools that will last a long time and really save cash in the long run.

I believe thw walleye opener in MN is on the 21st. In MN, walleye=fish. Good plan to bust your nuptuals away from this local religious holiday.
ASM has made announcement of the meet in their monthly e-bulletin (www.audiomn.org) for the 22nd from 1300hrs at the Pavek, which is one more step as to being set for time and place. There will be several extra tables for Head-Fi members equipment, but plan to bring extension cords and whatever else you need for full functionality.
Unless I've finally acquired a headphone amp by the time of the meet, all I have to offer are the Alessandro MS-2 Classic, but I will surely bring those for all who are interested in a listen.
