To make the desired voltage, resistance may be changed to R1(510Ω).

Yes, T.IIZUKA you are right.Changing resistors obviosly change DC. Your post have high value. In future i will try some changes in Muse.
But crappy wallwart market supply included should be replace :) For safety hehehe
I wanted reduce dangerous overheating and i did it.
What do you think about loosing dynamic and making sound more soft by reduce DC output on TDA ? I've read some about this subject

I've read some of the production.
TDA1543 voltage of 8V to think that many cases of this.

If you change the voltage offset adjustment is needed. (Vref)

I bought from http://myworld.ebay.com/leiqingjun1973/  He seems to be a good seller - when I told him my sample was dead - he told me to return for repair/replacement. We'll see how it turns out..

Guess you are aware that there have been some malfunctions, probably due to heat issues. If not, you are hereby warned.

However - I think it is worth the risk. And as you can read from this thread - a 9V 1.2A psu seems to make the heat issue go away

Fabolous sounding little person, this is. Just do not toggle the switch too much...

Using search string: TDA1543 x4 DIR9001, these show up... There are also other auction-stores that have this dac listed, use google for those :) Good luck, and report your experiences!

cheers

Yes, I purchased my Dac from the same ebayer as ardilla, excellent service with regards to my sample malfunctioning as well, being five months old, my questions were answered promptly and I am going to send my sample for repairs.  My Bryston DAC is up for auction right now on ebay, and when the funds clear, I will purchase the single chip DAC to accompany the multi chip one.  I mean what an amazing sound for 60 freaking dollars!

I suspect it is the DIR9001 that failed due to the excess temperatures inside the little case.  I will stick a heatsink on it when it gets repaired, also its a matter of four screws to remove the front and rear panels for extra airflow without resorting to drills.

I can now use my variable PSU to check the different temperatures and voltages, also I can check the voltage going into the chips to see how they are affected by the lower voltages.  I was using this PSU as part of my full battery audio system to charge the 210ah of AGM batteries.

I have since decommissioned the battery system because it took up too much space, which I needed to correctly place the giant Reference 7 DAC and Phoenix amplifier.

Wallwart market supply added to Muse.My mistake .It is stabilised of course.

And this is my new one.Build is simple and easy to upgrade. In the future I will chance capacitor for BC/Philips ,diodes for fast MUR, better resistors heheh that means 90% of components

I had to work inside.
Socket system with power capacitor.

Just use the same case.
To do so, the capacitor must be next.

Yesterday I did some test listenings.
Usually I use laptop's optical output as a source. After buying Muse I just checked coaxial in muse if i'ts work.Yesterday I compared laptop and denon dcd-820 as a source. Denon sounds much much better. Don't use laptops spdif outputs (realtek) ! They sounds fine (I thought hehe) with muse unless you will try CD as transport via coaxial. Now I just realize how Dynaudio's D28 tweeter amazing is :)
I'm thinking of buying USB-SPDIF converter.

Replacing the capacitor. (470uF to 680uF)
I think the difference in the bass out.
Sound is now less than usual.
Because of the condition?

>>I'm thinking of buying USB-SPDIF converter.

Windows OS were, MONITOR MUSILAND I'm with them.
So I do not use MacOS.
