Hey, I have heard some great things about this little amp, especially in reguard to it's price point. My query is- does this little amp hiss with sensitive iems, or is it quiet like a tomahawk?

Sorry, I have changed my mind after some research, I am decieding between the corda 2move, head amp pico (sans dac) and meier corda xxs. I probably would'nt use a dac, so if the meier corda xxs sounded as good as the 2move I would go that route. I am leaning towards corda because I think the pico may be a longer wait.

any info, or comments would be most appriciated as always

It's quiet with e5c, se530, and superFi.5pros (within normal listening volume, of course). A bit difficult to adjust the volume since it doesn't have a gain switch, though.

Isnt the PtoS switch a gain switch?

I thought it was an impedance switch. It's in reference to making an Etymotic ER-4P into a ER-4S, since the difference between them was a 75 ohm resistor.

Oops. I thought a gain or impedance switch were the same thing.

Yes, and it affect the SQ of other IEMs as well (usually not desirable).
