I'm on my second pair, in under two years and both have had the same fault, namely that the cable protector attached to the actual phone breaks. Has anyone experienced similar? I assumed responsibility for this last time - though I really shouldn't have done in hindsight - and have therefore used my lifetime guarantee, I assume. Before I go back to them again, I wonder whether this is a confirmed defect or if I'm just incredibly clumsy taking them out. I genuinely think not. Nevertheless, for the money and the weight, these shouldn't be so flimsy.

Any advice, Head-Fi?
