Here's my take on the Alba - they are excellent value for money: https://www.hifipig.com/meze-alba-earphones

Sorry for the cracked screen in the picture, but I finally managed to get hold of an Android phone, and try some EQ settings on my Moondrop FreeDSP cable and Meze Alba.
I've always wanted a little more depth, and limit the high-mids to perfect the sound for my taste.
(But when using an iPhone 15 Pro Max, there's no possibility to change these settings.)

And my og my, those small changes really made my Albas sing like never before. The bass is a little fuller, still punchy without being muddy/"rumbly" and I limit a little the "shouty" high-mids. Now I can turn up the volume without it being a little tiring.

Sorry if the the answer to my question is already answered here.

I am looking for ear tips withe the same size and form as the ones delivered with the Albas. Asked Meze Audio, but they don't sell spare ear tips for Alba.

All the best!

Anyone tested the Bowers & Wilkins pi8 against alba? 😃
I have both.

It's a little "strange" to compare a TWS device with ANC and all the other features, to a wired IEM that's just for pure listening.
If I should compare the sound, I first want to say I like them both very much.
But...
The Albas are still better sounding in all aspects, compared to the Pi8s.
Even if the Pi8s have a little more "rumble" to them, the bass on the Albas is quicker, punchier and is quite deep enough.
The Albas sound more open in the mids, and let the vocals shine, and they are also crispier and more detailed in the highs compared to the Pi8s.
The soundstage is where you really have a noticable difference between the two. The Pi8s sound narrow compared to the Albas.

I use the Moondrop Free DSP cable with the Meze, just for the inline remote and the possibility to adjust the lows and high mids a little. (Just a db or two in the lows, and -2db to avoid some "harsh" notes in the high mids).
In the B&W app, I adjust the 5-bands EQ on the Pi8s a little bit too. +2db LO, and +3db on HI. (the other three on 0)

Yeah I had the PI8 along with Alba and felt similarly. The Alba are a noricable step up from those and the devialet gemini 2. Meze should make a tws!

Have you tried the jet audio app? The inbuilt eq is awesome and then there’s the in app purchases options for even more. The free option works well.
