It's not normal.Been using my brand new 109's and I have creaking mostly on the right side where the ball joint connects to the earcup whenever I nod/move my head. Anyone else have had this issue? It is safe to try some wd-40 or should I just return? Don't think it's normal because it happens mostly on the right side.
I’m so glad you finally managed to get those back on. That sounded like a nightmare.god lord i finaly did it, i managed to put the pads on again! now i can try them on my new K7
and wow now the mezes 109 sounds like as i expect from a 900 headphone. the k7 really fixed my issues
more brightness than the Aeolus and more bass than the 6 series. Of course I'm oversimplifyingComing from Aeolus or Sennheiser 6 Series what can I expect from a Meze headphone such as the 109 Pro?
The 109 Pro has a wider sound stage either, the 660S or 650, which are the Sennheiser 6 series that I've heard.Coming from Aeolus or Sennheiser 6 Series what can I expect from a Meze headphone such as the 109 Pro?
Did not have this issue, but a small drop of olive oil - poored with a seringe or with a coton applicator (natural oil , thicker oil than wd-40 that i don't recommand) will probably solve your issue easy. It's not normal.
I'd just send them in to let them fix the issue
It's more than that I think the right earcup is loose because the earpad can touch the inner metal golden part of the headphone while the left side can't do that. I'm just going to return them.Did not have this issue, but a small drop of olive oil - poored with a seringe or with a coton applicator (natural oil , thicker oil than wd-40 that i don't recommand) will probably solve your issue easy.
I've used this solution for creaking doors hinge, stuck drawers, etc. Just make sure to wipe all excess clean.
